#GameDesign28 – Day 6

Day 6 Game Design Challenge

Choose a game you’ve played that has a clearly defined character the player controls. Good examples might include Pandemic, Robinson Crusoe, or Betrayal At House On The Hill.

Replace the character with one of the following:

  • A team of people
  • A robot
  • An anthropomorphic object
  • An animal that can talk

Now, write a paragraph or more exploring how the thematic change will impact gameplay for the player. Consider how sometimes changes in theme can lead to changes in mechanics.
