Paper Dice Games Update

December 3, 2025

Happy December! I hope everyone is staying warm, and has a cozy game to play this month!

Annual Survey and Giveaway

I would love to learn more about the games you play and what you enjoy playing, so I can make better games in 2026! If you fill out this 12 question survey, I’ll enter your email into a drawing for the old school solo D&D module: M1 – Blizzard Pass.

I’ll be drawing one name at the end of this week – if you want to be considered for the drawing, please have the survey complete by the end of the day on Friday, December 5th.

I’ll be using the results from the survey to help make some important decisions for 2026. These include final roadmap decisions for games I’ll be designing, whether or not I should prioritize print on demand, and others. Your input is extremely helpful in making these decisions, so I appreciate your time!

Other Updates

  • Newsletter – I have several ideas on improving the newsletter going into 2026. The survey results will drive some of these improvements. Please let me know in the survey, or even by responding to this email, any changes you would like to see!
  • New Logo – I am once again working with artist Mac Teg, this time on a logo update! The samples he has sent over look great, and I’m excited to finalize the logo here in December! I’ll likely start rolling the logo update out later in December, and complete a website overhaul in late December or early January.
  • Spellbook Updates – I have spent quite a bit of time working on the concept design, and internal playtesting for Spellbook! I still haven’t announced much about this game, but I’m planning on doing a full roadmap announcement, plus a full overview of the Spellbook game in early January. This is all pending my initial external playtesting which starts in the next few weeks, but I think things are looking good so far.

2025/2026 Roadmap

This will be the last roadmap update in 2025. Starting in January, I will have the full roadmap developed. I’m looking forward to seeing the survey results, as they will help drive some of the decisions on the roadmap for next year.
