I had a ton of fun creating this resource. It was a challenge figuring out how to create believable scenarios where an art skill, or gambling skill, would need to be used in space. It was also a challenge to release my first supplemental book, rather than a stand-alone game!
I already have a few ideas for new scenarios, so if there is enough interest, I’d love to update the resource at some point in the future to add even more scenarios! Let me know if you’d be interested on Twitter @paperdice games, or through email at: paperdicegames (at) gmail.com
I have a lot of thanks to give related to this release.
First, I want to thank all of you for your interest! Distress Calls for Space RPGs technically went on sale over a week ago, but I didn’t announce it. I checked this morning, and there had already been several purchases, even without an announcement! I’m blown away at the attention and support my games receive – thank you all so much for your interest and enjoyment!
Second, I want to give another shoutout to Mac Teg over at MacTeg.com for the really great artwork! The cover art pops, and after several conversations and a few small changes, I think Mac did a great job of bringing the art in my mind to life. If you’re ever in the market for some OSR style art, head over to the site and check it out!
