Grim Space is set to release on Tuesday, October 28th!
This newsletter will give Grim Space updates as we get closer and closer to release. I’m also planning a 10% discount for the PDF when it releases, ONLY FOR THOSE SUBSCRIBED! If you have friends interested, send them the link below!

Grim Space – Cover Art is Complete!
The cover art for Grim Space has been completed! You can see the full art above, and the tentative cover below.
Mac Teg has, once again, done an excellent job with the cover art for Grim Space. The art features the same ship captain as the cover of Distress Calls for Space RPGs, but this time being stalked by something large, something in the shadows, something alien.
You can check out more art by Mac at MactTeg.com

Indexing, Tagging, and Linking is Complete!
Most of last week was spent indexing, tagging, and linking everything in the PDF.
Each scenario has three levels of tags – a threat tag to help quickly determine what threat is presented, a location tag to determine where the scenario may take place, and a trigger tag to ensure the scenario’s horror flavor will work for everyone at your table. I learned something very important through this process – tagging is hard!
I then indexed all tags so you can quickly, for example, find a scenario located on a planet that features social intrigue, or a ship-related scenario that features haunting.
Finally, I’ve linked everything on the PDF for easy use.

Just teasing some more inline art by Mark Gosbell!
Next Steps for Grim Space
The list of things I need to do before release next Tuesday (NEXT TUESDAY!!!) is getting smaller, but it’s still a lot of work.
- Proofreading – As of writing this email, I am halfway done with proofreading. This means there are 20 pages that still need to be proofread. Then, the updates need to be made.
- Index and Tag Review – I found this step very challenging, so I’d like to take a second look at things and see if I can improve it at all.
- Final QA – This is the last step, and will likely take place over this weekend. Included in this step are reviewing everything again (mostly double checking updates from proofreading), and making sure all linked items work, and are accurately linked.
We’re super close to release! I’ll be celebrating a spooky sci-fi Halloween with all of you, because Grim Space releases on Tuesday October 28th!
Thank you for joining the newsletter, and checking out these updates! Remember, you’ll get a 10% discount code on release. Be sure to forward this email to your friends, so they can get the discount as well. Thank you for being a fan of games!
