Winter Workshop – Free Dwarf Mine Room Expansion

Happy winter, and happy holiday season everyone!

In the spirit of the season, I wanted to give you something free and fun! So here it is – I’ve added the Winter Workshop as a free room expansion to Dwarf Mine. If you’ve purchased Dwarf Mine, you should have already received a notification about the update to the game files!

What is Winter’s Workshop

Winter’s Workshop is a free one-room expansion to Dwarf Mine. The idea is simple – you’ve built a winter workshop, where some wonderful workers will create helpful gifts for you once a year.

But – the type of gifts you get depend on whether or not you are on the naughty or nice list.

It’s a bit goofy, not super balanced (I think this room lets you break the game in more than one way), but I think it is fun, so here it is!

Winter Workshop Fiction

“Welcome to the Winter Workshop.” The dwarf’s eyes twinkled and he gave a jolly laugh. “Now,” he continued, “Would you be on the nice list?”

Then, quick as a flash, a book appeared in his hands. The dwarf flipped open to a page, and ran his finger down the length of it.

“Your name isn’t on the list.” His eyes darkened, and the book slammed shut. “Do you know what that means?”

“It means…” he said, filling the pause, “…that you’ve been naughty.”

The twinkle returned to his eye in a second, and he gave me a wink. I could almost see a smile break through his enormous white beard.

“Follow me,” he said, as he began walking into the workshop, “I think you’ll like your gift.”
